About Organization
Janajati Society Development Program (JSDP) Sindhuli is one of the leading NGOs registered in the Sindhuli District Administrative Office as a non-profit making, non-racial and non-political, non-government organization. It is established for the socio-economic improvement of the deprived, socially excluded, and relatively marginalized people of the district and nearby communities. Initially the organization was formed in 2003 but it has been formalized only after registration with District Administration Office of Sindhuli in November 2007 under the Ministry of Home affairs Government of Nepal. It is also affiliated to Social Welfare Council and NGO Federation of Nepal.
Janajati Society Development Program (JSDP) Sindhuli has been working in the different developmental initiatives for sustainable development at Sindhuli district since the period of its establishment. It is committed in enhancement of social, health, educational and economic conditions of women, children and deprived community people. It is devoted to holistic development of deprived groups of people (women, children, Dalits, janajati and the low caste groups, ethnic and indigenous) who are facing the problem of social exclusion in the normal service delivery mechanisms on grounds such as inaccessibility, flaws in the intervention processes and approaches, gender, caste and ethnicity.
It was set/ founded to foster sustainable community development through people's organizations and leadership development and it tends to bring together the services of highly qualified and experienced professional, competent, and dedicated to implement community development initiatives especially for the poor, women and marginalized people agendas in a sustainable manner.
